Mi Youren

Mi Youren was the eldest son of the painter and critic Mi Fu. Father and son depicted misty mountains through accumulations of wet ink dots. After the fall of the Northern Song in 1127, Mi Youren fled across the Yangzi. In 1130 he gave Cloudy Mountains to a host who had sheltered him in Xinchang.
