Zhang Wo and the calligrapher Chu Huan

In Nine Songs, Zhang Wo supplied the painting and Chu Huan the calligraphy. They returned to ancient ritual poems of the Chu kingdom, repeatedly interpreted by Chinese scholars. Images and writing form a collaborative work. Distinguishing their roles makes each maker's contribution visible.
