Giovanni Bellini and Titian

Bellini painted The Feast of the Gods late in life. Titian subsequently altered its composition, so the museum retains both names. Their work belongs to Venice's system of training in family workshops; Titian himself studied in the Bellini circle. One painting records a younger generation's revision of an older master's work.
