Joachim Patinir
Active in 1515, died by 1524
Originally from Dinant, Patinir is documented in Antwerp from 1515. He was closely associated with Quinten Massys, who apparently supplied figures for some landscapes and later became guardian of his daughters. Personal ties accompanied a possible division of painted labor.
