Wu Zhen

Wu Zhen lived in relative seclusion and was little known during his lifetime. Ming critics later included him among the Four Great Masters of the Yuan. His landscapes and bamboo paintings were admired for their handling of ink. Shen Zhou helped bring his work to the attention of later generations.
